Shipping & Returns

Shelter Institute ships daily through UPS directly from our store in Woolwich. The majority of our packages are shipped UPS Ground Delivery. When appropriate, we also use US MAIL for envelope items such as class registration or gift certificates and there is no charge for mailing these items.

On the checkout page, you will be presented with the shipping options for your order. Please check the special shipping line item for no-charge items (such as class registrations and gift certificates). We can ship UPS ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air, and the associated costs are presented on the checkout page. If you have a particularly urgent need to receive your package more quickly than UPS Ground, we suggest that you call to put us on notice and confirm pickup times and estimated delivery dates at (207) 442-7938.

If you have received a package and wish to return an item or items, please call (207) 442-7938 to make arrangements. In general, we do not pay for return shipping. Returns are taken on a case by case basis. We make no warranty on any of the products we carry beyond the original manufacturers warranty.
