One day with our staff focusing on contractor relations, new materials, and techniques that allow the homeowner to be aware of and wary of details that make the house efficient, cost-conscious and personal. A fresh look at all the concerns of a homeowner hiring the house renovated, built or expanded.
Whether you plan to be your own general contractor or hire a general contractor to manage your project it is critical to understand a home building project and the finer details before you begin. Building a home or even renovating one is an incredibly exciting process and it should be enjoyable. We have heard a myriad of stories of home renovations or construction projects gone wrong because of poor planning or poor management of the project -- the classic homeowner not knowing what they want or how things go to gether and making decisions that cause the project to go over budget. There are certainly things that can go wrong that are beyond the control of a homeowner or general contractor but being prepared will enable you to manage those issues in a way that prevents the project from becoming a nightmare. In this one day intensive seminar, learn the details that will make your next construction project run so smoothly that it is actually fun and you get what you want and it is within your budget!
